   Ruby Saunders believes her dreams are finally coming true. Not only is she interning at a prestigious downtown Tampa law firm, but she has also captured the heart of one of Tampa’s most eligible bachelors. What could go wrong?

   A storm. A curving stair step. A single flash of lightning.

   Tripping and falling down the building’s spiral staircase, Ruby wakes to find it's 1948 and the law office is now a 1940s gentlemen’s club. She thinks it's all a dream until she overhears a human trafficking plot involving three kidnapped women from Havana. Realizing the beautiful nightclub is a front for the Tampa Mafia, she is determined to interrupt their plans. Only a few things stand in her way: she knows no one, cannot trust anyone, and someone is watching her.
