Caroline has a promise to keep.

Escaping the underground alien colony with four human hybrid children may have been a mistake – but leaving them was unthinkable. Unknown to the alien brotherhood, one of the boys is the last Fire Slayer on the planet, and she will do anything to protect him and his brothers from the aliens and humans hunting them.

With memories of Grant and his letters as her only guide and his love as her only defense, Caroline fights to keep her children safe despite the difficulties and special requirements of raising four young aliens destined to become soldiers in a apocalyptic war for world domination.
